The short version

• No accounts, no advertising trackers and no third-party marketing cookies.
• We only receive your details if you choose to send them (newsletter or contact form).
• You can ask us to access or delete your data at any time.

What we collect

Information you give us

Newsletter: your email address. Contact form: your name, email address and the message you write. We use this only to respond to you or to send the newsletter you asked for.

Information stored on your device

We save your light/dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage so the site looks the way you left it. This is not used for tracking and never leaves your device.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled on this site, we use a privacy-focused, cookie-free service that reports aggregate page views without identifying individual visitors.

Technical data

Like any website, our hosting provider processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs for security and reliability. Article images are delivered by Unsplash’s content network, which also receives your IP address when images load.

How we use and share it

We use your information to reply to messages, deliver the newsletter you signed up for and keep the site secure. We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site (for example our hosting, email delivery and form-handling providers), under terms that require them to protect it.

Retention

Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and then deleted or archived securely.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@wordzex.com. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

Wordzex is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, let newsletter subscribers know.
